Ryan Redington is the head of Amazon Music in the U.S., reporting to Steve Boom, VP of Amazon Music. Throughout his time at Amazon, Redington has overseen the launch of two Amazon Music streaming services — Prime Music in June 2014 and Amazon Music Unlimited in October 2016. He also spearheaded Amazon’s exclusive deal with Garth Brooks, to bring the Country superstar’s music catalog to streaming for the first time ever, with music now available to stream on Amazon Music Unlimited and Prime Music. He began his Amazon career working on the video team, before joining music, where he worked as a category leader in physical before digital and streaming.
