Colleen Theis is COO of The Orchard, the industry’s largest independent music distributor.  In this role, she oversees the company’s core business activities across The Orchard’s 30 offices globally. The company represents labels such as Red Bull Records, Som Livre, as well as artists including Daddy Yankee, Joey Bada$$, Kelsea Ballerini and RuPaul, among others.  Previously, Theis was based in London as SVP, International of ADA Global. She spent 12 years overseas, relocating from New York for her international marketing role with Rykodisc and Palm Pictures. Theis got her start in the music industry at Elektra Records’ international department. Prior to music, she worked in PR, produced cable TV content, and represented modern art painters and photographers.
