Fred Beteille

Head of Product for Music & Rights
Fred Beteille is Head of Product for Music & Rights at Facebook, leading the company's music and rights management products and strategies. Additionally, he is Chairman of the Music Business Association, elected to the role in 2015. Prior to joining Facebook, Beteille was Product Manager at Google/YouTube, where he led products and initiatives on YouTube Music, ContentID, YouTube Audio Library, artist tools and more. He was also the COO & Sr. VP of Technology at the Google-acquired RightsFlow, overseeing licensing and royalty administration functions and technologies.  Earlier in Beteille's career, he held the positions of Sr. Director of Strategic Technology and Director of Business Affairs at The Harry Fox Agency (HFA), where he helped lead business development efforts and architect rights administration platforms.  He is an accomplished songwriter, founder of TrackTribe and holds a degree in Music Business Management from NYU.
