Fred Beteille

Head of Product, Music & Rights
Fred Beteille is Head of Product, Music & Rights at Facebook, and is responsible for leading the company's music and rights management products and strategies. Additionally, he is a member of the Music Business Association Board of Directors, serving in various board roles since 2015. Prior to joining Facebook, Beteille was Product Manager at Google/YouTube, where he led products and initiatives on YouTube Music, ContentID, YouTube Audio Library, artist tools and more. He was also the COO & Sr. VP of Technology at the Google-acquired RightsFlow, overseeing licensing and royalty administration functions and technologies. Earlier in Beteille's career, he held the positions of Sr. Director of Strategic Technology and Director of Business Affairs at The Harry Fox Agency (HFA), where he helped lead business development efforts and architect rights administration platforms. He is an accomplished songwriter and founder of TrackTribe.
