Gillian Ryan is the General Manager of TMWRK, the international management company responsible for guiding the careers of international superstars including Diplo, Major Lazer, Justice, A-Trak, Flosstradamus and many more. Ryan oversees operations and financial management for TMWRK, overseeing process for a staff of twenty across three offices and a roster of more than twenty-five artists working worldwide. Ryan started her career in music at the legendary TVT Records, joining full-time before her junior year at NYU. She then spent time in the Columbia Records the marketing department before joining Jim Grant Management, where she worked with the likes of double-platinum Five For Fighting, Grammy-award winning Dan Wilson, Soul Coughing’s Mike Doughty and more. In 2008 Ryan enrolled in Columbia University’s MBA program, conscious of the changes happening in the industry around her. In the following years she took on executive operational and business development roles including at Warner Music Group and her own independent consulting firm, Level Strategy, before joining TMWRK in 2016.
