Juan is a recognized international expert in the Latin music industry, Founder, Strategist and Artist Manager at M3 Music, the Miami-Bogota based artist management agency behind the careers of the global electro-tropical sensation Bomba Estereo, the Latin Grammy Winner Monsieur Perine, the colombian rockers Superlitio, the electronic duo Mitu and the multi Grammy winner and Producer Eduardo Cabra, mastermind of Calle 13 and Trending Tropics, his latest music project. In parallel with his artistic entrepreneurship, Juan held several positions at EMI and most recently Sony Music, where he was in charge of Digital Marketing for the Latin-Iberia region as well as Head of Digital Strategy and Marketing for US Latin. At EMI he held the position of Regional Director, Digital Marketing, Exploitation and Consumer Insight for Latin America. With a business management background and a very successful record as nightclub entrepreneur, internet-based project manager and international cooperation executive -working for several companies in Colombia since 1994-, his passion for music makes him switch careers, moving to London in 2005 to complete a Master in Music Business at the University of Westminster. He then started his music industry career working at Apple as part of the editorial and programming team of iTunes Europe and at the digital consultancy Music Ally, from where he participated in strategy and marketing projects for music companies and labels around the world.
