Neeta Ragoowansi is Senior Vice President, Business Development & Legal Affairs/Co-Founder of NPREX (National Performing Rights Exchange). She has been an entertainment attorney and music business professional for over 20 years. Neeta was formerly in senior management and head of Artist-Label Relations at SoundExchange; SVP, Business Development/Legal Affairs at TuneSat; President of Women in Music; and Assistant General Counsel for the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and the National Symphony Orchestra. Neeta also provided consulting services to the financial sector on industry related topics including those involving streaming services, performance rights organizations, and rights administration services, and served as legal counsel to entertainment clients in her private practice, including start-ups, music publishers/labels, composers/recording artists/producers, TV/ theatrical producers, venues, and artist managers. Neeta currently serves on the board of Women in Music, The Recording Academy (Grammy organization)/NY Chapter, and the American Bar Association’s Forum on the Entertainment and Sports Industries.
