As Global Head of Artist Services at YouTube and Google Play Music, Vivien Lewit directs a team of music ambassadors focused on developing and executing strategies to support the growth of artists’ careers on YouTube and Google Play Music. She also oversees the company’s live music content programming and special events, including international live music events, music projects within YouTube Spaces, and unique fan engagement activations. Prior to joining YouTube as a Director of Music Content in March 2011, Lewit was an accomplished attorney in the recording industry. She specialized in music, digital rights, and branded entertainment. Starting as an associate at the law firm of Rudolph & Beer, she eventually took a partnership at Davis Shapiro Lewit Grabel Leven Granderson & Blake. At both firms she structured and negotiated numerous multi-million dollar sponsorship, endorsement, branding, and live performance agreements with Fortune 500 companies and global media outlets alike.
